Small Groups
What are Small Groups?
Churches use all sorts of names for small groups - life groups, care groups, home groups, cell groups. Yet all would agree that small groups are a means to an end. Small groups exist as a away for people to engage in biblical community that helps them become more like Jesus in every area of their lives. A small group is a group of three or more people who gather on a regular basis in a home. In a group you'll spend time in fellowship, study the Word, and pray together.
Why have small groups? So the church can once again become an irresistible Christian community where a person can: love and be loved, know and be known, serve and be served, and celebrate and be celebrated.
Life is not meant to be lived alone. You were created to experience life with other people, and that's why we encourage you to get into a small group.
Small Groups are one of the vital ways that we live out our mission as a church. The best definition of what a small group is, is that it “isn’t big – it’s small.” We have small groups in every area of the life of our church, where people are doing life together. This is where you are able to truly live out our mission as a body of believers to connect, cultivate and grow in community with each other.
